Cheapest way to switch spotify through monitors.

Drum editing etc is boring, so I like some music on. Obviously I need to be able to hear the edits from time to time. I can play Spotify from my phone, or the pc. What is the cheapest way to get Spotify into the monitors, whiles running reaper a d being able to quickly switch back and forth? Any ideas welcome!

Set your OS audio to use the same audio interface output you are using with Reaper. Set your OS audio to the same sample rate as your Reaper project. Hit play. :)

But with reaper in the foreground (while I work) I don't think I will hear spotify...

Have you tried WASAPI Shared mode? (assuming your using windows)

How about some sort of bluetooth audio receiver connected to spare channel on your mixer and stream Spotify from you phone, just fade it down when you need to hear your work. --Ian

ASIO works here with RME. Maybe it's different with different audio interfaces.
