Hello, REAPER community So I've just installed the full version of trigger a little while ago and something strange happened. I'm not seeing Trigger listed in the VST plug-in menu when I go to put plug-ins on a track. However, in old projects with tracks that already had trigger inserted, it loads and works fine on those tracks. So it seems that it is installed in the Program files>REAPER>VST>FX folder (and in fact, I double checked that by removing it and copying it in again), but it's not showing up on the menu. Any Ideas what might be the problem?

Take it out of the Reaper folder and put it in a dedicated VST folder somewhere. Putting 3rd party vst's in the Reaper Program folder can wreak havoc. After you have a VST folder set up, go into Options/PreferencesPlugins/VST (in Reaper, see attachment), and add the new location you just created in the space to point Reaper to your VSt's. The locations on the attachment are specific to my system, you put your new custom location in that space!
Nope, not seeing it at all. I just realized that I haven't had the dongle in the last few times I've tried. I wonder if that is necessary just to see it in the browser. I've gone back to school for the week and forgot to bring it with me so I'll have to wait till the weekend to get my hands on it. :(
Well, I've got the dongle in, but I'm still not seeing it. During the week I realized that I still had the demo version of trigger installed so I uninstalled it. That didn't help get Trigger EX to show up, however, Another plug I wasn't able to see now works. I had moved it into it's own folder along with trigger. I don't get why that one works now, but not trigger. Those two were the only plug-ins I've had this problem with.
